Finance Awareness Learning Program
Build practical money management skills through structured learning that fits your schedule. Our autumn 2025 intake opens July for those ready to strengthen their financial understanding.
Why This Program Works
Most people leave school without any real understanding of how money works. We built this program for anyone who's tired of feeling confused about their finances.
You'll learn from real scenarios that people face every day. Not textbook theories, but the actual decisions that matter when you're trying to save for something important or figure out whether that loan makes sense.
The program runs for sixteen weeks starting September 2025. Classes happen twice a week in the evenings, and we keep groups small so everyone gets individual attention when they need it.
How We Teach This Stuff
Start Where You Are
Everyone joins with different experience. Some have never looked at their bank statements closely. Others might understand basics but want to go deeper. We meet you at your level.
Practice With Real Numbers
You'll work through budgets, compare actual loan offers, and analyze real investment options. The numbers you practice with reflect what you'll actually encounter in Australia.
Ask Without Judgment
There's no such thing as a stupid question about money. We've heard them all, and the best learning happens when people feel comfortable asking what they really want to know.
What You'll Actually Learn
The program covers four core areas over sixteen weeks. Each builds on the previous one, but we design them so missing a class doesn't leave you completely lost.
Money Basics and Budgeting
Understanding where your money goes sounds simple until you actually track it. We'll help you build a budget that works for your situation, not some ideal version of your life.
Credit and Debt Management
Credit cards, personal loans, mortgages. How they actually work, what the fine print means, and when borrowing makes sense versus when it'll cause problems down the road.
Saving and Investment Foundations
Superannuation, shares, property, savings accounts. We'll break down the options available in Australia and help you understand risk versus return without the confusing jargon.
Financial Planning and Goals
How to plan for the things that matter to you. Whether that's a house deposit, career change, or just building a buffer so unexpected expenses don't wreck your month.
